The First National Workshop under project “LSEP: Planning for Sustainable Communities in Bulgaria ” was organized o n the 12 th of November 2003 in “Princess” Hotel in Sofia.

Representatives of all the regional and municipal authorities, ministries, agencies, associations, non-government organizations, private enterprises and other stakeholders took part in the workshops.

Documents and brochures following the process of implementation of LSEP in Bulgaria – already implemented projects, benefits, perspectives, possibilities for implementation of investment RES and EE projects were distributed among the participants in the workshop.

The representatives of the regional administrations received a copy of CD containing the LSEP Methodology, developed by the consultants from ESD-Bulgaria Ltd. and ESD Ltd. UK .
